Deases receives life sentence in Ames strangling case
Ruben Deases is sentenced to life in prison for the May 1989 murder of Jennifer Gardner in Ames Iowa. Gardner's head was found near a roadside ditch and her body recovered from a lake. The case also highlights sibling involvement and a sister witness.
