UI Law School tests path aims to keep Iowa top students
University of Iowa College of Law plans a Kinnick Law Scholars program allowing high achieving UI students to apply without LSAT. Dean Gail Agrawal says it could slow Iowa student outflow, while most enrollees still face competition with the broader applicant pool. The program targets students with 3.5 GPA or top 10 percent and top percentile test scores.

Iowa three state universities report mixed graduation rates
The University of Iowa posts a four year graduation rate above 50 percent for the first time in years though it fell from 51.1 to 50.9 percent. Iowa State rose to 43.2 percent and UNI to 39.2 percent for the 2010 and 2013 cohorts respectively. Six year rates show UI at 70.0 percent, ISU 68.9 and UNI 63.8 with retention near or above state and national averages.
