Cedar Rapids council acts on rezonings and street plans
The Cedar Rapids city council approved multiple rezonings from R-2 to B-2 and other changes while filing plans for a sanitary sewer on Collins road NE. It set March 27 for a hearing and bid openings, approved subdivision bonds, allowed paving and sidewalk work at several additions, and authorized various street entrances and a parade. A beer permit was granted, and corrections were made to public safety vehicle purchases. The February municipal court report and license receipts were filed, and several dairies met grade A milk standards.
