Courtroom action in drunken driving cases near Coggon
Gordon F. Kellogg, 43, of 1108 Sixth Street SE pleaded guilty to drunken driving and was fined 500 dollars plus costs as a second offender by Judge J. E. Heiserman. Otto Keith, 48, of Coggan appeared on a drunk driving charge and was given until Thursday to enter a plea. Kellogg was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Sunday after a collision with a wrecking car driven by Harold Knott two miles east of Coggon on highway 13. Keith was arrested about 10 p.m. Saturday east of Coggon on highway 13 following a report that he forced another car off the road.
