Cedar Bend lake project costs and plaque saga in Cedar Rapids
Cedar Bend seeks funding clarity as council ponders relinquishing the Vision Iowa grant for the lake project. The plan's costs span eight to fourteen million for the lake feature, with consultant fees over 240000 and a $600 repair bill after a rock toppled, damaging a city trailer. The commemorative plaque, linked to former Mayor Paul Pate and colleagues, remains in Dahlman’s office awaiting elevation fill and potential dedication.
