Kenneth Washburn says seven new-style fakes with serials EA66986012B EA54010626C and EB11657668C were passed. Coralville resident Harlan H. Willet, 50, of 1511 Olde Hickory Rd, is charged with prostitution for allegedly propositioning a 17-year-old male at 101 Second Ave. He allegedly offered oral sex and suggested they could “work something out” after the teen refused. Maximum penalty cited is two years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Vance Dillon, 39, says he was passed over for a manager promotion at a Davenport Taco Bell due to race and being "too ghetto." He filed the 2001 complaint with the Davenport Civil Rights Commission. the panel denied it for lack of evidence. Dillon's appeal argues the decision misread the law and ignored evidence in his favor.
Levi Butler a first year Maharishi University of Management student was fatally stabbed in the dining hall Monday night. Shuvender Sem 24 has been charged with first degree murder and held on a $1 million bond.
