Cedar Rapids library seeks bonds for main and West Side branch
Cedar Rapids trustees push a 2.9 million bond package to renovate the Carnegie main library and add 8 000 square feet for a West Side branch. The plan includes a drive up window, expanded seating, and 58 000 square feet of space to 1995, with a total levy up to 2 mills if valuation falls.
