Little House Arti facts faces Friday cleanup deadline
Cedar Rapids based Little House Arti facts owner Beth DeBoom must clear yard displays of salvaged doors sinks and lawn ornaments from a flood reclaimed home in the New Bohemia District to comply with city zoning rules. The city may extend the deadline if a conditional use permit is pursued though officials stress outdoor displays must be neat and orderly. DeBoom argues the yard is part of her eclectic vintage business and foresees sales losses if the display is removed.
