She was born October 16 1929 in Cedar Rapids Iowa and lived in Clinton and Cedar Rapids before moving to Oceanside in 1964. She worked 25 years at the Oceanside Library and was active in golf with El Camino Country Club. She is survived by her son Derek Clark wife Robin and grandchildren Brittany Missy and Travis and sister Janice. A celebration of life will be held at El Camino Country Club on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. Flowers were optional and donations requested to Oceanside Library or Zion Lutheran Church and School Fallbrook.

Authorities say a powered scented oil warmer started a two story Waterloo home fire that killed Sandra Rasmussen, a mother of seven. An autopsy found death from smoke inhalation and burns.
