Marion woman injured in assault. boyfriend charged
Marion police say a 27 year old man Cody Brown assaulted his girlfriend early Thursday at 795 Bentley Dr. She suffered a serious brain injury and was hospitalized at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with life threatening injuries. Brown faced assault causing serious injury and posted 20000 bond. The investigation continues.

14 year old dies in moped hit and run near Fayette

Guilherme Alves De Melo, 33, faces one count of intimidating a flight crew in federal court for disrupting a Calgary to Chicago flight.
