High Court Hears DRM School Case Arguments
The Iowa Supreme Court heard oral arguments on whether the Deep River Millersburg Community school district may elect one director by the entire district and four by subdistricts with two per subdistrict. Plaintiff Dunham argues the plan denies west district voters a voice. defendant Helmick contends the 30-voter disparity is not discriminatory. A ruling could affect 450 districts statewide.

Tama court hears several defendants this week
