Lone Tree Farm Fire Loss Estimated at 15000
A farm including house and several sheds, owned by Evelyn Lantz four miles north of Lone Tree, burned Thursday afternoon. The loss was estimated at 15000. Firefighters from West Liberty and Lone Tree saved the barn. Mrs. Lantz was in Iowa City at the time. She and her three children lost most possessions. several children escaped unharmed. A drive in Lone Tree is collecting for the family.
