Millennium Bridge in London to remain closed for months
Engineers from Ove Arup say the Millennium Bridge will stay closed for several months as they study its wobble. Investigations point to synchronized footfall as the cause, with options including large shock absorbers under the bridge. The $27.15 million structure was built by the Millennium Bridge Trust and is owned by Southwark.
