New Setup To Become Effective July For Farm Security
The Farm Security Administration will begin a greatly expanded advisory system July 1 serving practically every rural Iowa county. Iowa FSA director George Heikens explains the plan has four committees per county including farm debt adjustment, rural rehabilitation, tenant purchase, and a county council. The debt committee will have three members two farmers and one credit man. The rural rehabilitation panel will include three farmers with farm women represented. The tenant purchase group remains three farmers. The county council adds all committee members plus three nonfarmers.
