LGBTQIA Pride Reads for June and beyond at Cedar Rapids Public Library
Cedar Rapids Public Library staff highlight bisexual main characters across YA titles. Queens of Geek by Jen Wilde features Charlie and Alyssa at a convention with shifting relationships. Adiba Jaigirdar’s Hani and Isha’s Guide to Fake Dating follows Hani and Ishu as a fake dating plan reshapes identity and status. Sophie Gonzales’ Perfect on Paper centers Darcy and her rival circle, while Morgan and Ruby explore queerness at new schools. Other titles include Some Girls Do, Cool for the Summer, Let’s Talk About Love, All the Invisible Things, This is Kind of an Epic Love Story, and Faith Takes Flight among varied queer teen experiences.
