Defecation habits and health views from 1934 column
The piece debates daily versus infrequent bowel movements, arguing a healthy person on a normal diet will have one to three urges per day and may not need to rush to answer the call. It contrasts Fletcher and Kellogg while warning against autointoxication fears and quack cures, then answers reader questions on hiccups, salt intake, and growing pains with brief medical guidance.
