250 Year Old Bible Restored By Minnesota Conservator
Phil Handy, 76, found a fragile revolutionary era family Bible in a Florida attic and brought it to Valkyrie Conservation in Stillwater, Minnesota. Bailey Kinsky, 33, carefully cleaned, rebounded, and housed the delicate pages, replacing fragile genealogy leaves with photocopies, restoring the historic artifact at a cost of about 650 dollars. The work preserves a lineage dating back to Handy’s great-great-great-great grandmother and keeps the Bible’s 250 year history intact for future generations.
