A 39 year old Cedar Rapids man, Jim E. Bartlow, was acquitted by a Linn District Court jury of impersonating a police officer. The jury found the remark made to Wesley Hardman near First Street and 13th Avenue SW was offhand with no criminal intent after about two hours of deliberation.
