Body Reynolds Found Drowned In Cedar River Near Cedar Rapids
The body of Richard Reynolds, 23, of Covington, was recovered from the Cedar River about six miles northwest of Cedar Rapids. He disappeared Sunday afternoon and was found at 2 15 p m Tuesday beneath a fallen tree along the south bank. The body was taken to Turner’s mortuary after being brought to Ellis Park bathhouse by boat. Searchers also sought William Gensicke, 13, of Edgewood No 1, who drowned the same time as Reynolds, with the effort centered near the discovery site.
