Renovations at Shakespeare Garden Begin in Cedar Rapids
Renovations start at Shakespeare Garden in Ellis Park Cedar Rapids with a June 18 entrance arch installation by Barnes Manufacturing Services. The Linn County Board of Supervisors and Cedar Rapids contribute funds toward a $600000 project aimed at revitalizing the 100 year old garden and adding event space and classes. The effort, supported by Friends of Shakespeare Garden and local groups, seeks partners for arts programming and conservation, with completion expected around 2026.
