City moves to hire design teams for Cedar Rapids flood project
The City Council is ready to approve two engineering design teams HR Green of Cedar Rapids for the west side and Stanley Consultants of Muscatine for the east side. Public engagement will guide design and construction over a decade as funds come in. The project totals about 570 million with 50 million in professional services and 264 million secured from the Iowa Flood Mitigation Board.
