Right to sue eroding in defamation era say Iowa prof
University of Iowa law professor Geoffrey W. Palmer warned social science teachers that the right to sue for defamation is eroding under U.S. constitutional limits. Palmer contrasted British common law with American approach and urged caution about media power to destroy reputations.
