Officials from the Hiawatha Public Library will announce details of the Make Room for Imagination capital campaign to renovate and expand the facility. The 10:45 a.m. briefing at 150 W Willman St will mark a rare large scope project, says library director Jeaneal Weeks as voters hear of the effort.

Cedar Rapids woman convicted of embezzlement in Marshall County

German 46 of Cedar Rapids pleaded guilty in Marshall County District Court to first degree theft and tampering with records for using three Spread-All Manufacturing company credit cards to steal over $10,000 from 2006 to 2016.
