Wright to Flight exhibit proceeds amid History Center foreclosure
The Cedar Rapids History Center presses on with the Wright to Flight exhibit despite a mortgage foreclosure filed in April by Guaranty Bank and Trust Wells Fargo and US Bank. The center owes over 1.35 million dollars with more than 100 thousand past due, while awaiting possible bank action and a potential receiver. Director Martha Aldridge emphasizes strong attendance numbers in May and notes exhibit content on Wright brothers and aeronautics pioneer Alexander Lippisch.
