A Parnell man enters the Iowa City home of his estranged wife and dies after a scuffle with deputies and DCI agents. In a separate incident, a 22 year old Cedar Rapids woman was found dead in her Ninth Avenue SW apartment. Authorities described the intruder as armed and were investigating possible domestic links.

Cedar Rapids police investigate the death of 22 year old Traci Evenson found Sunday morning in her second floor apartment at 438 Ninth Ave SW. Autopsy results pending with investigators treating the death as a possible homicide. Lt Ken Washburn states no ruling yet as the probe continues.
