Reagan radio talks go unheard in eastern Iowa this Saturday
In Eastern Iowa no stations aired Ronald Reagan’s Saturday radio address despite White House notices. Station managers report listener disinterest and limited reach, with only KIOW in Forest City broadcasting via ABC Radio channels. Some editors question why major letters do not carry the talks. Reagan will again begin his remarks with My fellow Americans next Saturday, but Iowans may miss them.
