Filmation Aims Adult Viewers With Animated Star Trek
In Reseda California Filmation seeks to redefine Saturday morning cartoons by presenting Star Trek in animation as a bold adult oriented experiment. Officials Norman Prescott Lou Scheimer and Hal Sutherland insist the goal is quality and to attract a mature audience beyond three to six year olds. The studio also touts Albert and the Cosby Kids as part of their lineup.
