Linn-Mar hires delayed over mail shenanigans
Linn-Mar school board delayed hiring an assistant superintendent of instruction after board member Barbara Thom cited mail shenanigans that left an empty envelope and a later postmarked schedule of interviews. The vote to delay was 4 to 3 with Engle Hedenstrom Mollenhauer and Thom yes. The personnel committee plans a Monday meeting as bids for next year’s fuel were also unavailable due to supply and price uncertainties.
