Cedar Rapids City Council Approves Sidewalk Plans and Zoning Changes
Cedar Rapids city council approved sidewalk specifications for several SE and SW locations and set a bid opening for July 9. The body also authorized sewer assessment resolutions, zoning changes for Sixteenth Avenue SW and Dalewood area, preliminary plats for multiple additions, vehicle purchases, and parking changes near fire station No. 3. Additional actions included street lighting, outdoor booths, a beer permit switch, a loading zone, and May gasoline reimbursements totaling 1936 dollars.
