Five Injured in Crash Near Lisbon
Five persons were injured early Saturday night when two cars collided one mile east of Lisbon near the Cedar Linn line. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bedell of Highland Park Michigan suffered broken right arms and Mrs. Bedell head injuries. Mrs. Riedell also sustained head injury. Mrs. Millard Hoskins and Mrs. Thelma I driver of the other car were said to have broken noses. Hoskins’ injuries were not immediate. All victims were taken to St Luke’s Hospital by ambulance.

Boat Found in Tree Near Chain Lakes
J C Delridge and O D Smith spotted a three quarters submerged flood boat wedged among branches in a tree near Chain Lakes. The plywood hull cabin boat floated ten feet above ground in a flooded field three quarters of a mile from the river channel. The owners removed the craft and planned to notify the rightful owner.
