Preschool visit highlights Iowa City Natural History Museum
Wendy Ellison guided a preschool group through the University of Iowa museum last week and discussed fossil teeth as they explored the Giant Ice Age Sloth and Northern Otter exhibits. A university task force proposed cutting the museum’s 118000 dollar annual budget, but President David Skorton aimed to keep the facility open as a historic institution founded in 1858.
