No Amnesty In Tax Bill Senate Drops Provision
The Senate removed the amnesty provision from the tax overhaul bill, which would have shielded clients who confess to the IRS and repay taxes with interest. Other items note price gains, a major grant breach claim, a 50th class reunion, a high-speed pilot attempt, delays in Medicare claim payments, a Cedar Rapids airport service dispute, a landmark jail case, and sports and media items across Iowa papers.
