Underweight Child Needs Exercise Not Food Say Experts
Dr. C. H. McCloy of the University of Iowa told the ninth state child welfare conference that underweight children may require more exercise rather than more food. He noted experiments show over weight people can be under nourished and underweight individuals well nourished, based on fat and muscle measurements. The old method of judging health by weight and height is considered obsolete.
