Iowa City settles open meetings suit over 2007 presidential search
The University of Iowa and members of the 2007 presidential search committee settle with Harold Hammond. Hammond receives 65 895 54 dollars for attorney fees and expenses and the suit is dismissed. The agreement cites several open meetings law violations and commits future training and compliance steps.
