Koreans Build Church For Iowa City Koreans
The Iowa City Korean United Methodist Church breaks ground for a $250000 church on Rohret Road southwest of Iowa City. Groundbreaking is at 4 p m Sunday with hopes to move in by November. The building will serve about 150 adults mainly University of Iowa students plus 60 children. The congregation raised about 70000 locally, with 95000 from the United Methodist Board of Global Ministry and the rest from Cedar Rapids district churches.
