Travel disruption as strike prompts mixed plans across the region
Business travelers from Cedar Rapids to Milwaukee face longer drives or canceled trips as the strike affects air travel. Veterans like Francis Schulte and Veronica plan trips to New York and Florida with contingencies, while Hank Hemphill may forgo weekly travels. Some see relief in lodging vacations or Amtrak, others expect reduced in-person meetings. The mood mixes optimism for resolution with adaptations in schedules.
