Bear attack kills 11 year old in Utah wilderness
An 11-year-old boy was dragged from a family tent and killed by a black bear during a Father's Day outing in American Fork Canyon Utah. The stepfather found the torn tent and the boy's body was recovered about 40 yards from the campsite. Wildlife officers killed the bear the next day, confirming it as the killer. Authorities noted such events are extremely rare in Utah.
