Texas Chainsaw II aims at yuppies in new Cannon sequel
Hollywood director Tobe Hooper confirms a $4.5 million Chainsaw sequel underway in Austin with Cannon Films. Production runs through August at an old Matterhorn amusement park location, featuring night shoots and cave scenes. Hooper cites homage to Menzies and a less graphic, suspenseful tone while keeping Leatherface and the murderous family front and center.
