Extradition of Rev Tony Gallagher Delayed to Texas

Extradition proceedings for Rev Tony Gallagher of the Walker Bible Church to face a felony theft charge in Hidalgo County Texas have been postponed up to 60 days. The hearing was continued due to a vacation and paperwork delays moving from Hidalgo County to the Texas governor and then Linn County. Iris Aguilar of Hidalgo County prosecutors said plans to return Gallagher to Texas remain intact after a grand jury indicted him for allegedly stealing $2,000 from Rio Grande Children's Home in Mission Texas.
