Iowa City approves Sabin parking ramp condo deal
The Iowa City Council approved a 6-0 purchase lease for a $15.3 million parking structure with more than 600 spaces on Dubuque and Harrison streets. A & M Development and Capital One Public Funding will build and the city will eventually own the ramp after 20 years while the developer retains the 28 townhome condominiums. The plan includes 3 affordable units and ties to Riverfront Crossings development with an amended completion date moving to March 2017.
