UI Flood Impacts Two Million Square Feet Campuswide
The Iowa City campus faced two million square feet with water and half of that area flooded as the river crest fell. Officials reported eight buildings without power while generators ran. Old Capitol Lindquist Hall and Jessup Hall were among those affected, with Lindquist data center still operational on temporary power.
