History filled bar opens as My Sister's Place in Carlisle
The renovated Carlisle bar blends a jail door, antique trike and model caboose with a tin ceiling and scavenged barn wood. Owner Ben Rector and staff recount a community project begun in 2019 costing about 125000 dollars with help from locals and an 8000 dollar Busch Light budget.
