Series of fires near Arizona preserves lead to arson charges
A Phoenix man faces a 22 count federal indictment for arson and extortion related to eight fires at luxury homes under construction in Phoenix and Scottsdale between April 9, 2000, and January 18, 2001. He is in FBI custody with a detention hearing set and trial planned.
