He estimates costs from 100000 to 300000 dollars and may add gambling funds. Punxsutawney secretary Angela Gigliotti notes the event would be historic.
Police moved back to the Myongdong Cathedral area to disperse thousands of anti government demonstrators in Seoul. After a five day clash, a core group of about 200 students resumed a sit in while police fired tear gas and set a cordon at the cathedral gates.
Five Iowans died in separate drowning accidents over the weekend. Among the victims were 34 year old Charlotte Boddicker found in the Iowa River near Iowa City and Beau Ashler, 10, and his brother T J Ashler, 6, in the Nishnabotna River near Essex. Authorities discussed ongoing searches and recovery efforts across Jefferson, Ankeny, Adel, Essex, and Page County.
