Judge Denies Plea While Citing Travel Costs
In Tama County Court Judge Victor denied paying distance costs for a defense attorney. Robert LeRoy Buchanan, 30, Marshalltown, facing larceny breaking and entering and habitual criminal charges, chose a Marshalltown lawyer. The court extended the pleading deadline to June 21 and ordered Buchanan held at the Marshall County jail until then. He remains under a Ft. Madison penitentiary commitment for going armed with intent.

DR-M Remap Suit Appeal Hearing Set

Iowa Education Study Slated By Harrison Weber
