Family disowns Iowa pastor over rights march

Atkins School May Operate Until 1967
WINTON The Atkins consolidated school district may operate as in the past until July 1, 1967. Leonard Abels, state department of public instruction consultant, informed Benton County Supt. Floyd Bilison. Objection deadline to a merger with the Benton Community district is Monday, June 27. A petition for an election on the merger was approved, but no election date is set.
