White Lake vanishes in Russia a sudden sinkhole event
In Bolotnikovovo a 48 foot deep White Lake disappeared overnight leaving a crater and mud. Authorities believe underground soil shifts opened a channel draining several thousand to over a million cubic yards into a subterranean cavern and toward the Oka River. Local residents recall a once deep lake becoming a mud plain.
