Cedar Rapids Court Action Sends Multiple Defendants to Prison
U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids imposed sentences and guilty pleas across drugs and firearms cases. Andre Springfield of Chicago received 10 years for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine. Casey Hay of Waterloo got 19½ years for meth conspiracy and possession. Other defendants faced sentences or trials for money laundering, drug distribution, illegal reentries, and weapon offenses.
