G L Cooper of 1733 K avenue NE reported two hornets attacked him while driving south on First Street SW at 9 15 am Wednesday. He lost control fifteen feet past Fourth Avenue and hit Keith Newell's parked car at 1106 Twelfth Street NE. No injuries, minor vehicle damage.

Cairo dispatches note Egyptian MPs vote to sever relations. Sources say British raids on North Africa may have used Egyptian bases.
