Paul Eugene Espe Pauly, 62, died Sunday June 8 2014. No services. A private burial will occur later. Survived by son Shane McVay brother Richard Espe sisters Helen Lilleboe Susan Humphrey and four grandsons. Preceded by parents and two siblings. Lifelong Cedar Rapids resident. Army veteran.
Memorial Mass for Doris N Holub will be held at 10 30 a m Thursday at St Ludmila Catholic Church with Rev Dennis Juhl officiating. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Friends may visit after 9 a m Thursday at the church Teahen Funeral Home assisting the family.
John Duke Hunt 89 of Cedar Rapids died June 9 2014 at Emeritus at Silver Pines. Visitation June 16 2 p.m. funeral at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel with military rites. Burial Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Survived by wife Joyce Hunt infant son Christopher daughter Michelle Hunt siblings and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beverly Eileen Packingham 84 longtime Palo resident died June 8 2014 at her home surrounded by family. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Friday June 13 at Palo United Methodist Church with burial at the cemetery. She worked 31 years for the U S Postal Service in Palo and Cedar Rapids retiring in 1985. She is survived by ten children 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren along with relatives.
Harriet Moreland Shriver 95, of Mechanicsville and former Olin resident, died June 7 2014. Services June 12 10:30 a.m. at Olin Cemetery with visitation at Lahey Funeral Home June 12. Survived by children Ronald Sandi Moreland Dixie Hollingsworth Nancy Ronald Marlette and extended family. Memorials preferred.
